FOR WATER SYSTEM WINTER LAY-UP
1. Drain the entire water system as thoroughly as possible. Open hot and cold water faucets and all other outlets. Use air pressure to blow out remaining water.
2. Drain the hot water tank—leave the petcock open after draining. Bypass the hot water tank by disconnecting the inlet and outlet lines and connecting them together with fittings or hose and hose clamps.
